50年代金光戲《火燒紅蓮寺》紅極一時，

故事本出民初小說家平江不肖生《江湖奇俠傳》，

原為十天連台本戲，以令人目不暇給的變景技法為觀眾喜愛。

教育部110年傳統戲曲特色耀升計畫經典傳承劇目，

由歌仔戲國寶藝師廖瓊枝老師領軍重製，

挑戰舊戲重新製作，結合現代科技，

幻化劇場場景，奇幻武俠大戲，敬請期待……。

 

劇情簡介

紅姑原為平凡婦人，夫喪遭搶，

被高人沈棲霞救至山中習練武藝，一身紅衣形象最為鮮明；

桂武為紅姑之姪，個性秉直，自幼與紅姑離散，長大後輾轉招贅入甘家寨，

欲事後逃離賊窟，與妻甘聯珠闖四門、遭父親飛劍追殺，

而有許多機關布景變換等場面，甘聯珠嫁雞隨雞，逃離甘家，

父母捨離親情之間動人的內心戲；

陸小青身為護衛，為救卜文正大人，出入紅蓮寺，身陷機關重圍；

柳遲，為呂宣良徒弟，功夫最優，劇中他是瀟灑落拓的功夫好手；

除此之外，代表崑崙派的呂宣良身騎神鷹，沈棲霞拂麈施法，

代表崆峒派的甘瘤子、知圓和尚、逍遙仙姑、跛腳大仙常德慶功夫不凡，

正惡交鋒，精彩連連，共同演出一場熱血沸騰的武俠奇情機關變景劇。

Synopsis:

Aunt Hong, a widow with an iconic image in red dress who was robbed, is saved by Shen Qi-xia and starts learning martial arts. Guei-wu, Aunt Hung’s nephew and upstanding, was wrenched from Aunt Hung when he was little. He was then raised up by and learned martial arts from Old Mr. Wang. After growing up, he married into Gan’s Village, which is a thieves’ lair. He wants to escapes with his wife, Gan Lian-zhu. They overcome obstacles and are chased by Lian-zhu’s father, Fei-jian. Where the needle goes, the thread follows. It is a touching scene when Lian-zhu leaves her family and farewells her parents. Lu Xiao-qing, a guard, breaks into the Red Lotus Temple to save the local commander Pu Wen-cheng. Liu Chi, Lu Xuan-liang’s student, is skillful in martial arts. Besides, Lu Xuan-liang representing Kunlun Sect and riding on an eagle, and Shen Qi-xia conjuring wizardry, fight against Kongtong Sect, which is represented by Gan Liu-zi, Monk Zhi-yuan, Carefree Lady Fairy and Lame Immortal Chang De-qing. The fight of the good against evil and ingenious traps create a splendid Wuxia performance.
